-Volunteers are needed at the Lake Augusta Wine and Brew Festival on Saturday, September 19th to help with set up, ticketing, light clean up and a few other tasks. Like to play volleyball? Come out and play for a good cause! Christ’s United Lutheran Church (13765 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont PA  17845) is sponsoring a 24 hour charity volleyball tournament from Friday, September 18 at 5:00 pm to Saturday, September 19 at 5 pm to support Kelsey’s Dream, Team Taylor and the Wounded Warrior Project. -Discover opportunities to learn and serve for Bucknell Students and Staff! Come to the Alternative Break Fair on Thursday, September 17 in Walls Lounge, 2nd Floor, from 12 noon-1 pm and 5-6:30 pm to find about various university projects to learn and serve in communities outside the Bucknell Bubble. Break away and spend your winter, spring, or summer break doing something meaningful.

Kids of the Kingdom Day School, 2349 Old Turnpike Road, Lewisburg, PA, needs volunteers for the following task: Assist school director and classroom teachers with: Duplicating handouts for instruction and parental notices, preparing classroom activities, updating bulletin boards, arranging classroom furniture, arranging materials in the gym/playground, taking inventory of materials and resources, preparing materials for programs, and setting up for school programs.
Schedule:  M/W/F – 9:00 to 11:30 or T/TH 9:00 to 11:30 or M/W/F 12:15-2:45 (times and days flexible)

Slifer House Museum in Lewisburg will be hosting its annual porch sale on 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 26 to raise funds for the museum, a non-profit organization. We are in need of volunteers from Thursday, Sept. 24 through Saturday, Sept. 26. Thursday and Friday will be our set up and organization days, while Saturday we will need people to actually oversee the sale. Jobs that we need help with throughout these days include creating sale displays, pricing items, overseeing the sales floor, cashiering, and helping to move items. Volunteers are needed on Saturday from 8 a.m. till 1 p.m. and on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. till 12 p.m. or other arrangements can be made to accommodate availability. Help at the concession stand and see part of the game this Friday night!! – Volunteers are needed to help at the concession stand during Lewisburg Football games on 10/2, 10/16, 10/22, and 10/30. -Volunteers are needed to help make apple butter for the Apple Butter Festival in New Columbia on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd. The work shifts are: Friday, October 2nd 4:00- 8:00 p.m. 8:00 pm – 12 midnight and the on Saturday, October 3rd: Midnight – 4:00 am, 4:00 -8:00 am and 8:00 am to 12 noon.
